Day 35
Scripture:
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Corinthians 9:7)
Message:
Mature church leaders never forget that all resources for ministry are gifts from God. Likewise, mature believers understand that their faithful giving fuels the church’s mission.
Our tithes are not just for covering church utilities and maintenance; they enable us to fulfill God's calling in spreading the gospel. The Bible not only instructs us to tithe but also encourages us to give willingly and cheerfully. Our offerings should stem from our love for God and joy in giving, not from obligation or pressure.
When we give joyfully to the church’s ministry, God uses our offerings to transform lives and bring more people to Christ. A single person's contribution may seem small, but when we combine the resources God has entrusted to each of us, we gain greater capacity to accomplish His work.
Prayer: Praying to Be Good Stewards of Money
Lord, You are our provider, and every good thing we have comes from You. Thank You for Your continuous provision and care. As we pray and seek the revival of our church, help us rediscover the joy of giving. Remove selfishness from our hearts and grant us wisdom to manage and use our finances for Your glory. Amen!
