Day 33
Scripture:
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10)
Message:
In the Old Testament, many great figures were willing to make significant contributions for God. One of them led the entire Jewish community to complete a major construction project—Nehemiah. During the latter period of the Israelites' captivity in Persia, Nehemiah coordinated different people to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, which had been destroyed by the Babylonians for decades.
When reading the Book of Nehemiah, Chapter 3 may be difficult to go through because of the many hard-to-pronounce names, but it is an essential chapter as it emphasizes how every citizen of Jerusalem was willing to work hard to rebuild their city walls.
Today, as we pray for the revival of our church, the important question is: are we each willing to do our part in rebuilding it? Every Christian must contribute their talents, experience, time, and financial resources to help the church grow. If we leave the work of revival solely to pastors and leaders, we will not experience true revival.
Prayer: Praying for Everyone to Participate in Church Revival
Heavenly Father, You have brought us together to form a community of believers with diverse gifts and experiences. Please help each of us recognize our roles, fulfill our responsibilities, and offer our talents and time to build up Your church together. Amen!
