Day 34

Apr 7, 2025

Scripture:

"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." (Galatians 5:13)

Message:

When choosing a church as your spiritual home, it is often because you believe that church can help strengthen your relationship with God. Maybe the Sunday services allow you to experience God's presence, or the preaching and Bible study sessions help you better understand His Word. You know this church helps you follow Jesus more faithfully.

There is nothing wrong with choosing a church based on what it offers you. But what if, instead of asking what we can receive from a church, we choose a church based on what we can give to it? How would that change our spiritual lives? How would that transform our church? How would it impact the expansion of God's kingdom?

The Bible does not specify how to choose a church, but it does remind us of the atmosphere we should bring to a church. Are we building a church where people serve and love one another?

Prayer: Praying for Serving One Another

Lord Jesus, help us put aside pride and prejudice so that we may humbly serve, love, and forgive one another. Give us generous hearts to share our gifts and bless each other. Teach us to serve selflessly, and may we be united as one. Amen!
