Day 32

Scripture:

"Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them." (John 14:21)

Devotion:

Obedience to Christ is an act of love. When a person’s heart is transformed by the gospel, they will naturally desire to obey Christ. In this light, following Jesus’ teachings is no longer a burden but a path to joy and blessings. Obedience to Christ is not a reluctant duty, nor is it done out of compulsion. Rather, it comes from a willing heart, eager to follow Him. Our obedience draws us closer to Him, allowing us to experience His love and presence more deeply. Through obedience to Christ, we can build a more intimate relationship with Jesus.

Prayer: Praying for Obedience to Christ

Jesus, You are my Lord, my Savior, and my Friend. Please show me the areas of my life where I need to follow Your teachings more faithfully. Reveal to me where I have not lived according to Your Word, so that I may repent and follow You once again. As a church, help us to display our love and faithfulness to You, becoming a shining witness for Your glory. Amen!
