Day 28

Apr 1, 2025

Scripture:

"You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance." (Psalm 32:7)

Content:

The enemies of God despise a church that effectively testifies for Jesus. Peter reminds us in 1 Peter 4:12 not to be surprised when we face persecution because of our faith. As we continue our mission to spread the gospel and resist the darkness of this world, we should expect to encounter difficulties and even persecution. But let us remember that God has always been a fortress for His people. As we work diligently to revive the church, we must continue to trust in God’s power to protect us. At times, we may feel like retreating or questioning whether the battle is worth the effort. However, just as Paul encouraged the Thessalonian church in the face of persecution, we, too, must be courageous, knowing that God will always keep His promises. When we face attacks from the enemy, He will protect us and give us peace.

Prayer: Praying for God’s Protection in Spiritual Battles

Dear Lord, You have told us in the Scriptures that You are our stronghold and our rock. In times of trouble, You are our refuge and hiding place. As we pray for revival in our church and seek to save the lost while expanding Your kingdom, we know we will face attacks and persecution. Remind us to seek Your protection. Give us courage, faith, and peace so that we may accomplish the mission You have entrusted to us. Amen!
